Post-election recap issue of the official organ of the Social Democratic Party of America's powerful local branch in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This includes election results from Nov. 7, 1899, which saw the re-election of a number of socialists, including Haverhill Mayor John C. Chase and State Representatives Frederic O. MacCartney and James F. Carey. The election saw the loss of SDP State Rep. Louis M. Scates in his bid for re-election.
Includes short letters to the editor from both Carey and MacCartney.
This paper has been microfilmed one time, probably in the 1950s, with service copies of the reels extant only at the Tamiment Library of New York University and Ohio State University. The issues preceding and following this issue (vol. 1, no. 5 and vol. 1, no. 7) are missing from the film.
